Our History
OPS Sales Company, formerly Oilfield Pipe and Supply, Inc., was established in 1982 in Dewey, Oklahoma. Initially, the organization operated as a manufacturer, distributor, and retailer of tubular steel products within the oil and gas industry. In 1986, OPS underwent a strategic shift, exiting the oil and gas sector and entering the non-prime structural steel market. Through sustained success and expansion, OPS recognized the potential for further growth and strategic acquisitions.
In 1999, OPS made a significant expansion by acquiring a yard in Birmingham, Alabama. This strategic move enabled the company to expand its reach into the southern United States and enhance its steel plate and coil segment, particularly in the areas of Toll Processing and HD Plasma Plate Burning.
OPS Dewey Plant offers rolled and welded pipes from 30” OD to 150” OD and New Rejects/ Secondary from 6” OD, as well as small OD pipes produced in OPS Mill from 0.84” OD to 2 7/8”, including Gates and Panels.
